Small Dogs: Yes
FOSTER UPDATE: Zapper is zipping along beautifully and enjoys following his foster guardians from room to room. The family kitten, however, not so much, as he’s snapped at it several times when kitty came too close. Well mannered and friendly with strangers, Zapper is learning how to ride in the car and enjoys the doggie park. When left alone, Zapper will whine a little but is not destructive so he is not crated. He barks very little except when foster mom swims laps and the splashing scares him but, loud noises in general, he ignores. Zapper is housetrained with no doggie door and is a gentleman on the leash. He knows the commands: Come, Lie Down and Shake hands, and comes when he’s called. Zapper is a healthy, delightful fur companion who loves squeaky toys, plays well with other dogs, handles grooming well, and enjoys greeting the neighborhood kids.
