FOSTER UPDATE: Maya is a sensitive, young and extremely shy greyhound around people, especially men. She likes to play with her toys and run with her two greyhound roommates in the yard. Maya’s not sure what to make of the resident cat and usually avoids it. Maya has an open crate in her foster home where she can retreat if loud noises disturb her and she needs to feel safe. She also occasionally sleeps in the crate at night. Maya is house trained using a doggie door, is well behaved in the home and can be left alone and crated for two hours without getting anxious. She has a good appetite and no foods seem to bother her. Maya enjoys her walks but when a car whizzes by, she will sometimes pull on the leash. Maya is slowly learning to trust her fosters, enjoys being groomed and is starting to seek affection.
