Small Dogs: No
FOSTER UPDATE: Jenny, who responds to Penny Lane, is incredibly playful and loving. Lacking any sense of ‘alpha’ her enthusiasm, however, can initially overwhelm shy dogs. While confident, she is sensitive to correction and is food-motivated, so she learns very quickly. She seems fine around smaller dogs but her ears perk up instantly when she sees a rabbit! What’s more: she is absolutely the smartest dog we’ve had in our house! Within a week she learned 5 tricks and taught herself how to open doors (pushing & pulling) with her nose. She’s so smart, in fact, that we’re taking her through agility training (which will end June 19) to channel her brainpower. With her energy & smarts, she’ll need a home where the adopter not only offers affection & playtime but regular interaction and mental stimulation – preferably with other playful dog(s) in the house.
