FOSTER UPDATE: Farley is a sweet, gentle dog that is compatible with cats and small dogs. When first walking with non-greyhound canines, he would try to avoid them, but now accepts them as walking buddies.  Farley is house broken without access to a doggie door and is not destructive in the home, so crating is unnecessary.  He’s learned to play with toys and enjoys Frosty Paws doggie ice cream and chomping on bully sticks for dental health.  Farley is always happy to see kids on his daily walks and would do well with a family with children. He walks well on the leash and does not appear to have a prey drive, although a large hopping Jack Rabbit will get his attention and make his ears perk up. His appetite is good and no food issues have been noted. Farley is affectionate but not needy, and enjoys hanging out with his people.
