Adopt A Greyhound

Every greyhound needs a home, but not every home needs a greyhound. We do not adopt our greyhounds as first come first served; but rather, we make an educated and conscientious attempt in matching the right dog with the right home.

In an effort to match each greyhound with his or her best possible home, Arizona Greyhound Rescue has a multi-step adoption process that allows our volunteers to get to know potential adopters, and to provide the information and support necessary to ensure a successful placement. Anne ran 126 races and then was taken to KS to be a brood mom. She had 4 puppies before joining our family in Tucson. Anne is doing very well in her foster home. UPDATE FROM ANNE'S FOSTER MOM: Although she is 7 years old, Anne has big, brown puppy eyes. She is little for a greyhound, but packs lots of love. Anne quickly learned how to use the doggy door; to stay off the furniture; and to sit on command (most greyhounds don't sit). Anne has lots of energy and loves her daily walks. She is a real sweetheart!
