Small Dogs: Yes
Foster Update: Denver is a quick study. After only five days with his foster moms, he’s already in tune with their routine. This dog has a beautiful expressive face and a sweet and unflappable personality. One of his foster moms tucks Denver in at night, sings him a lullaby and kisses him on the head; naturally, the boy sleeps through the night until it’s time for breakfast. Like most rescued racers, Denver is a food hog although learning that food is plentiful so there’s no need to grab his foster moms’ dinner! The command ‘down’ is being enforced! Denver loves to meet people on his walks but has a prey urge when he spots a fleeing rabbit. His fosters are cautious when Denver encounters small dogs. However, he is living amicably with an inside cat, Barney, who suffers the long, cold nose exploratory sniff from his canine roommate.
