FOSTER UPDATE: Carter is living harmoniously with a Jack Russell and an Akita and enjoys being part of a pack. Carter lets his foster Mom know when he needs to go outside, so he’s housebroken without a doggie door. He is not crated because he is well behaved in the home. Carter thrives on human contact and craves love and affection, rewarding the giver with greyhound chattering happiness. His foster mom says he’s a great dog with the patience of Job. Carter is good with kids when his foster mom baby-sits children ranging from 6-12 years of age. When it’s time to wield the vacuum, Carter just moves out of the way. Carter is healthy, walks well on the leash, enjoys being groomed, knows his name, and comes when called. His foster mom says that Carter will melt the heart of anyone who is lucky enough to adopt this wonderful dog.
