UPDATE: Sunshine is recovering from her dental surgery thanks to the generous support of the community!  AGR would like to thank all who have contributed.  Sunshine is adapting very well to her new diet and may have a possible adopter.  Way to go, Sunshine!

Sunshine is an 8 year old who once spent her life taking care of her many puppies as a brood mom.  Now that she is retired, AGR is working to give her the best retirement possible.  Sunshine was in terrible pain due to her poor dental health.  To relieve her pain, all of her teeth were extracted at a cost of $4000.

Sunshine's story is an example of how much it costs AGR to provide the veterinary care the hounds need for a healthy, pain-free retirement. Last year, AGR paid over $41,000 in veterinary expenses for the greyhounds. Veterinary care is expensive but necessary, and AGR will continue to provide this service to the hounds no matter the cost.

With your help, we all can give the hounds the best start in its new life as a couch potato.
