! When a greyhound is picked up from the track, it costs AGR $325 to cover transportation, spay/neuter, vaccinations, dental, and routine blood work. The adoption fee only covers a portion of this initial cost, the rest is paid by donations and fundraisers. If a greyhound goes into foster care, it's boarding and food are donated by our wonderful volunteers. For hounds that stay at the kennel, it costs AGR $14 a day for each space we rent at the kennel, which comes to $420 a month for each space. The prices are high but well worth it for our hounds. That is why we appreciate your generousity in sponsoring . There are many ways you can help. Please choose the appropriate level of sponsorship based on the table below. You may also donate any amount you feel is appropriate.
** Your sponsorship will go to pay the cost to care for your sponsored dog first. Any remaining balance will go to help his/her hound buddies while looking for their forever home.
