Arizona Greyhound Rescue, believing that every greyhound deserves to be healthy, safe and well-loved, seeks to nurture the lives of these dogs by providing quality care, responsible adoptive homes and by promoting humane treatment through education and awareness.

Guiding Principles
1) We provide greyhounds with healthy kenneling/fostering, spaying or neutering and necessary medical/dental care.
2) We place greyhounds in responsible, forever homes. We do this by screening adopters, placing hounds in foster homes to ensure a more successful transition and providing on-going support to adopters.
3) We are committed to the health and well-being of greyhounds, and therefore advocate for them by raising community awareness about their plight with the intent that racing will end.
4) We educate the public about greyhounds- their history, the uniqueness of their breed and their special requirements. We do this through our website, meet and greets, presentations and outreach.
5) We support, encourage and welcome an active volunteer base which shares our passion and vision.
7) We operate from a foundation of honesty and integrity.
8) We operate in the best interest of greyhounds.
