Mother’s Day is May 11 – Order flowers to benefit greyhounds
Foster home needed! - - Arizona Greyhound Rescue has an ongoing need of foster homes for our hounds while they await adoption. Watching a greyhound blossom during this transitional phase is a beautiful thing. The more dogs that go into foster; the more dogs that get saved from unknown fates at the race track Can you foster?
New Events: Merle’s Door/Book Signing – Friday, May 16 Clues Unlimited Mystery Book Store hosts a book signing and talk to benefit Arizona Greyhound Rescue. Ted Kerasote, wrote Merle’s Door: Lessons from a Freethinking Dog about a deeply touching portrait of a remarkable dog and his relationship with the author. Admission is $10 and delicious Nicaraguan refreshments will be served. Greyhounds are welcome too; 7 p.m.; located in Broadway Village, ½ block west of Country Club/Broadway; 326-8533.
