“I met my first greyhound when I was in college and was amazed at the compassion and nobility that these dogs exhibit.  I knew that once I settled down and had a home and a yard, a greyhound would be a part of my life.  After my husband and I moved to Tucson, we wanted to add a dog to our family and that is when we met Chimera and all the great folks at AGR.  In watching Chimera acclimate to her new home, we began to truly understand the plight of greyhounds and the importance of placing them in forever homes. When we heard that there was an opening for a secretary to handle the adoption paperwork, we thought it would be a great way for us to give back to an organization and contribute to a cause that brought a wonderful hound into our lives.”
